Landfill capping systems play a vital role in the control of water seeping into the waste mass and in preventing the escape of landfill gases. Capping systems can include geosynthetic barriers or natural soil derived barriers or both. BeneTerra has the expertise and experience in both of these systems and has managed the implementation and monitoring of these systems.
Once a capping design has been completed by your Engineer, BeneTerra can work with you to ensure the materials selected will comply. We will also work to ensure the placement of the capping system is in accordance with the design. We manage the quality aspects of the materials including soil investigations, geosynthetics testing, vegetation selection, planting and management.
